Lucy Mulgan's opera Red! was commissioned by Barefoot Opera UK in 2019 and piloted at Robsack Wood Primary Academy in March 2020 with 50+ 8 - 10 year olds. In 2021 it was performed by NZOpera, Orchestra Wellington with 450+ local children and a 20-piece orchestra in Wellington, NZ. Future performances include 180 children, Barefoot Opera on the seafront in Hastings UK July 2022.
